Hot Topics in Advertising: Enforcement in Beauty & Fashion
The clean beauty and responsible fashion trend is driven by consumers' growing concerns about how products are made and sourced. Federal regulators have become increasingly active in this area and the National Advertising Division (NAD) is no stranger to beauty and fashion-related challenges either.
Join us to learn best practices for how to efficiently navigate the regulations that impact how companies advertise and manufacture beauty and fashion products, from building compliance programs, assessing litigation risk, and defending against enforcement actions. Panelists will discuss the FTC’s recently updated Endorsement Guides, the highly-anticipated updates to the Green Guides, the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act, as well as relevant NAD cases.
This in-depth event features a panel comprised of BBB National Programs' National Advertising Division Vice President Laura Brett who will be joined by Crowell & Moring partners Holly Melton, Preetha Chakrabarti, and Counsel Helen Ogunyanwo.
